Background Information:
Yu Feng is an Associate Professor at the Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT), Ningbo, China, His research focuses on global vegetation change and the associated ecohydrological feedback. He has published more than 40 SCI papers, including 23 first/corresponding authors, with more than 2500 citations and an H-index of 28. Some of his research papers have been selected as Nature Sustainability cover and featured articles, and have become the support materials for the reports of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and have been widely reported by domestic and international media (Sciencenet, Mongabay, The Guardian, etc.). His theses have been recognized by Sichuan University, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the University of Hong Kong for outstanding/best thesis, respectively. He has served as a reviewer for more than 10 SCI journals, including One Earth.
Research Field:
Global vegetation changes and the associated ecohydrological feedback. Current research focuses on: 1) patterns, mechanisms and environmental impacts of tropical vegetation and its carbon cycle processes; and 2) observation and modeling of ecohydrological processes.
