EIT is dedicated to build an optimized research management scheme and create innovative research ethos, targeted at the frontier scientific and technological challenges, strategic fields fundamental to the economic development, national planning, and people’s wellbeing. A technology transfer center will be built to strengthen EIT’s capabilities of directly contributing to the society, regional and national strategic areas of growth.
Innovation Platforms
More Key foundational scientific research platforms play a decisive role in synthesizing resources across different disciplines. EIT will strive to build or participate in the building of key labs or scientific research platforms at the provincial and national levels, to encourage and realize deep integration of multiple disciplines, particularly EIT’s advantageous disciplines, and eventually become an accredited participant within the system of nation-level labs, provincial co-built labs, provincial-level labs, provincial key labs, etc.
Technology Transfer
EIT has been actively exploring partnerships with top enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta, Zhejiang Province and Ningbo City, in jointly building labs or co-developing research programs to share resources and expertise between the university and industries and to support innovative corporations in building up the moat of core technological advantages.
