Welcome to the College of Information Science and Technology (CIST)! CIST strives to explore frontiers of information science and technology with its focus on advanced interdisciplinary research in next generation electronic engineering, artificial intelligence, information and telecommunications network technology, integrated circuits, and other critical areas to meet technological challenges on the global, national and local scales. Breakthroughs in the College’s areas of study will contribute to sustainable economic growth, improvement in quality of life and protection of the global environment.

Research Focus
Electronic Science and Technology
Design and develop the disciplines of micro/nanoelectronics, electromagnetics, optoelectronics, and integrated circuits, with emphasis on high-speed integrated circuits, RF systems, optical chips and telecommunications, etc.
Computer Science and Technology
Design and develop the disciplines of computer science and technology, and cyberspace security, with emphasis on computer science and engineering, artificial intelligence, software engineering, data mining, cyberspace security, etc.
Automation
Design and develop the disciplines of control science and engineering, and electrical engineering, with emphasis on intelligence science and technology, detection technology, and automation equipment, etc.
Information and Communication Engineering
Design and develop the discipline of information and communication engineering, with emphasis on information engineering, communications engineering, etc.
